Is Code Really Poetry?

Pic source: CafePress.com

For more than 2 years I have been intrigued by the tee I got from WordCamp Indonesia 2010. It has a line on its back, “Code is poetry.”

On many websites I found, “Coders write.”

Huh? What the heck are they talking about?

Here is my journey finding the answer.

September Challenge: One Post a Day

Original image by Oloff3 (Deviantart)

Hello, September! I would like to challenge myself this month. For the next 30 days, starting from today, I will publish 30 posts on this blog. One post a day. Since I am learning to be a great strategist, of course I am doing it with a plan.

Here is how.

Follow the Blog, Join the Knights of WordPress Realms

Automattic recently added new widgets for WordPress.com blogs, and this one has undoubtedly been my new favorite. Named My Community, it is a widget displaying blogs of those following this blog of mine.

I name it Knights of WordPress Realms for these reasons: 1) It matches the ‘Content is King’ phrase; 2) Every blogger is most likely their own blog’s content creator, which means one blog equals one kingdom/realm; 3) I have been growing fond of George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire lately.

I humbly welcome you to follow this blog so your own blog might be listed on the sidebar widget. Please do. Thank you.

Plinky Storms Your Brain with Questions

iPod-nano-5G-grey

I’d bring my iPod Nano 5G with me. But wait, is there electricity in afterlife?

Confused by that line above (and the pic)? You should. That is my answer upon a question prompt provided by Plinky, and I just auto-published it to this blog.

The question to that answer was:
They say you can’t take it with you. If you could, what’s one thing you’d bring?

But I bet a better question is swirling in your head rite now: What is Plinky?
Well, read the rest!
